On April 21, we presented the next generation of ThermoCooler HP and EcoCooler with R290 – a completely natural refrigerant with a GWP value of 0.02. Considering the stricter F-gas requirements coming into effect in 2027, interest in the new products was high.

ThermoCooler HP and EcoCooler with R290

This year we are launching our new integrated cooling units and reversible heat pumps with the completely natural refrigerant R290. We have tested them for over 45,000 hours. They are energy-efficient, have a long service life and the components are supplied by world-leading companies.

  • Natural refrigerant with GWP 0.02 – ready for the F-gas regulation 2027
  • Integrated into the air handling units – no external cooling installations required
  • Equipped with calibration-free detectors and evacuation section
  • EDF (Evacuation Dilution Function): Patent-pending function that ensures evacuation and dilution of refrigerant in case of a possible leak
  • Tested and CE-marked from factory in accordance with IEC 60335-2-40 and EN 378 standards
  • Multiref (multi-refrigerant): compatible with both R454C and R290

Envistar Flex with the integrated reversible heat pump ThermoCooler HP, the natural refrigerant R290 and the patent-pending EDF function.

Successful launch of new refrigerants at the trade fair Nordbygg

At the stand, interest in being able to get our products with the refrigerants R290 and R454C was very high. Many visitors felt reassured that the units are future-proof and meet the stricter requirements of the F-gas regulation, which will come into effect in 2027 and 2030.
