Munch Museum | Oslo

At the Munch Museum in Oslo, you will find much more than just the world's largest collection of art from Edvard Munch. The vision is to create a gathering place for music, film and art – with both new and well-established talents.

In a museum, carefully controlled temperature, humidity and ventilation are required so that the valuable objects are not damaged. The indoor climate must also be adapted to the number of visitors.

With IV Produkt's Flexomix series, a solution was customised for the Munch Museum. 26 AHU’s were delivered, of which 23 were Flexomix units in varying sizes. Flexomix are modular units where the customer can choose fans, motors and heat recovery units for energy-efficient air handling.

Stable values

During construction, the temperature was required to be 22 ºC in the exhibition halls, with a permitted difference of plus/minus 1 ºC. The relative humidity should be 50 %. The values for temperature and humidity must not change too much up or down.
