Smart solution simplified the transport into an older building

In central Oslo, the street Karl Johans gate runs through the city. At Karl Johans gate 2, four Envistar Flex size 300 were installed with the integrated cooling unit EcoCooler. Thanks to the Easy Access concept, the site transport went very smoothly.

The property was built in 1898 and some parts of the building are marked as a listed building. The new air handling units were placed in an attic with limited ceiling height. All unit modules were delivered divided, in Easy Access design. The installer therefore did not have to damage the old facade or open the roof. The modules were taken through narrow passages to the backyard and further by elevator up to the newly built plant rooms.

The energy efficiency of the 20-year-old units was poor and an upgrade was needed. Four Envistar Flex 300 units with the integrated cooling unit EcoCooler were installed in the attic. In consultation with IV Produkt's sales representative, we came up with a detailed plan for the site transport. The units were delivered in smaller modules in Easy Access configuration.

Thanks to the Easy Access concept, the units are easily transported into the plant room.

A good indoor climate

There are shops on the ground floor and office space on the other floors. With EcoCooler, the tenants get a good indoor climate with comfort cooling. With this solution, no external cooling installations were needed.

The energy usage of the fans is much lower than before. The temperature efficiency is now over 82%, which is much better than with the older units. With EcoCooler, we have optimal cooling of the premises.

The air handling units are transported in through a normal door with a width of 90 cm. Watch the video about our Easy Access concept.
